William Jewell Ezell (Bill), 91, of
Crestwood Road, Cartersville died Sunday, February 24, 2019 following a
prolonged hospitalization. He was born
in Cherokee County, Georgia to the late John Oscar Ezell and Sarah Jane Garland
Ezell. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Naomi Ruth Phillips Ezell; 3 brothers, Thomas, James and John Brown Ezell
of Rydal; and his sister, Mildred Colston of Kingston.
He is survived by his children, Kerry and Kathie Haney of Rydal and
Brian and Karen MacLeod of Winder; 5 grandchildren, Kerri D. Roberson, Mandy N.
Nichols, Mason D. Haney of Cartersville, Ashleigh N. Brannon of Rydal, John M.
Ezell of Missouri; 11 great-grandchildren, Dustin Roberson, Megan Wilkey, Cody
Nichols, Holly Nichols, Justin Nichols, Jacob Nichols, Samantha Haney, Tucker
Haney, Hollis Haney of Cartersville, Aiden Brannon and Evelyn Brannon of Rydal;
2 great great-grandchildren, Cohen Roberson and Knox Wilkey of Cartersville;
his brother, Morris Gene Ezell of White; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Thursday, February
28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church, Hwy 140, Rydal,
Ga. Interment will follow in the church
cemetery. Mr. Ezell will lie in-state
from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
The family will have a visitation for family and friends on Wednesday
evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until
12:00 p.m.
