Vivian Buchanan, 81, of LaGrange, GA, peacefully passed from this life to her eternal home on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Florence Hand Home.
Mrs. Buchanan was born September 8, 1938, in Cartersville, GA, to the late Olin Robert Bishop and Sarah Emogene Earwood Bishop. She was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and retired from Boatwright and Company CPA as an Office Administrator. She faithfully supported her husband during numerous years of ministry, loved her family and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband, Rev. Fred Buchanan; sons, Jeffrey Wayne (Terri) Buchanan, Steven Anthony (Robin) Buchanan, and Anthony Wayne (Kim) Buchanan; daughter, Michelle Buchanan Hanner (Keith); grandchildren, Heather (Ben) Huddleston, David (Michelle) Buchanan, Ashton (Ricky) Zambrowicz, Dallas Buchanan, Kaitlyn Buchanan (Ali Babar), Landon (Kelsie) Buchanan, Caleb Buchanan, Mason Buchanan, Taylor Vivian Earnhart, and Jordan Kay Earnhart; great-grandchildren, Rook, Rhett, Ryland, Nora Mae, Averett, and Brooks; sister, Earlene Barrett; brother, Harry Bishop; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date with a private family committal service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West Georgia Hospice or Franklin Road Baptist Church in memory of Vivian Buchanan.
