Timothy Clifton Bruce, 53, born in Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. He unexpectedly breathed his last breath as he was spending time with family at home.
His desire to make Jesus smile compelled him to spend his life cultivating intimacy with God and those he loved, inspiring others to intentionally experience His lovingkindness, first his wife and kids, and then the world.
The number of lives impacted through his intimacy with Jesus goes beyond thousands, and will continue beyond millions.
It is said that we should celebrate those we love while they are here, not just when they’re gone. We can confidently say we celebrated every facet of and moment with him while he was here, out of deep appreciation … how could we not? He was truly a deeply beautiful man. His joy was radiant and to know him meant you had a story of when he made you laugh.
His father, Ed Bruce gone before him, Tim is still treasured deeply in the hearts of the love of his life Erin Katherin Bruce, whom he never ceased loving faithfully. Then his immaculate seed left his four beautiful children, whom he pursued relentlessly and intentionally, Savannah Leigh Bruce, Timothy Clifton Bruce II, Audrey Valentine Bruce, and Lily Katherin Bruce. He is also deeply cherished and remembered by his angelic mother Judith Bruce and brothers Eddie Bruce, Robert Bruce, and sister Debbie Bruce.
A viewing will be held at Owen’s Funeral Home Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 2-4pm followed by Tim’s Reunion at Tabernacle Baptist church at 5pm.
