Miss Kimberly Diane Green, 32, of Kingston passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020, from injuries sustained in an UTV accident.
Kimberly was born in Rome, Georgia, February 7, 1988, daughter of Darrell Gene Green and Teresa Diane Smith Green. She was a member of Crowe Spring Baptist Church and employed by Shaw Industries. Above anything she loved being a mother to her daughter, Daytona. Kimberly enjoyed the outdoors — going camping, finding two trees for her hammock, fishing, and muddin' with her family and friends. She was a diehard fan of NASCAR and the Tennessee Vols. Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert Smith, Harbin Green, and Carol Ford; great-grandparents, Homer and Bessie Chitwood, Heslep and Minnie Camp, and Leonard and Ruby Green; uncle, Michael Smith.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Daytona “Speedway” Williams; mother, Diane Green; father, Darrell and Tammy Green; brother, Josh Green; sister, Brittany Smith; niece, Jolene Smith; grandparents, Margaret Smith and Cecil Ford; boyfriend, Craig Baker, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Following COVID-19 guidelines with social distancing, funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Ronnie Cowart officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will include Perry Wells, Josh Moon, Tony Ramos, Tayler Knight, Taylor James, and Adam Ross.
