Diversity on the Diamond hosts 1st baseball clinic

Posted

Diversity on the Diamond held its first-ever youth clinic Sunday at Summer Hill Park, hosting more than 40 youth baseball players from ages 5-14.

The clinic offered four stations of hitting, pitching, infield play and outfield play, and it featured instruction from the Diversity on the Diamond staff — as well as high school players from Adairsville, Cartersville, Cass and Woodland.

Representatives from Cartersville Little League and Bartow County Little League were also in attendance to provide information to parents on how to sign up players for their respective leagues.

Diversity on the Diamond, which was formed during the summer, plans to host more clinics, camps and tournaments in the near future in hopes of promoting increased participation in youth baseball for all in Bartow County.
