Cartersville resident Frisbee helps lead Darlington golf to state title

The Darlington School girls golf team won the Class A-Private state championship for the second straight year, beating out Athens Academy by five strokes Tuesday at Green Island Country Club in Columbus. Pictured, from left, are coach Jared Willerson, Hannah Willerson, Liza Frisbee, Anne Scott Smith and Nea Leppanen. Frisbee, a junior from Cartersville, finished third in the tournament with a two-day score of 154.
