Brenda Lee Combs Jordan was born March 2, 1959 in Ohio to William Kanis Combs and Mary Magdalene Gayheart Combs and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 14, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Brenda was the only sister to seven brothers. She was spoiled by them all. She is survived by all 7 brothers,  Bobby (Nata) Combs, Bill Combs, Mike (Norma) Combs, Nonnie Combs, Rick (Eileen) Combs, Greg (Angela) Combs, Jeff Combs.

Although Brenda didn’t have any children of her own, she cherished and loved her nieces and nephews, Brook Brookshire, Cammie Franklin, Amber Carter, Leslie Ann Combs, Amanda Wallace, William Combs, Daniel Combs, Scott Walker, Rebekah Wesley, Sarah Clifton, and Richard Varner.

Brenda graduated from Felicity Franklin High School in Felicity, Ohio, in 1977.  If you knew Brenda you knew that shopping was her biggest hobby. Kmart was her favorite store and she never missed the blue light special. She  was an avid reader of romance novels and any kind of magazine. Music was her everything. She would sit with her headphones on and play music for days on end. While listening to her music she would drown out the world around her and read. The Eagles was her favorite band but she did love her some Richard Marx.  She loved Richard Marx so much that she even had her hair cut like his back in the late 80’s and early 90’s.

Brenda was a private person and kept to herself and yet at the same time was the nicest person. She would do what she could for someone as long as you didn’t ask her to drive. Brenda was of the Baptist faith and loved going to church for worship and fellowship. Brenda enjoyed cooking out at the park and family gatherings. She knew that this would always get the family together if she wanted a cookout.  Brenda worked at Nantucket Industries for many years until closing and then went to work at Costco until they closed. A Celebration of Life service will be  April 1, 2023 @ 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, 1024 Mission Rd Cartersville, GA 30120.  The family was cared for by Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth.
