Bobbie S. Smallwood, 81, of Cartersville, Georgia, went to be with our Lord on May 3, 2023.
Bobbie was born on December 1, 1941 in Rest, Virginia. He was a member of Operation Sea Orbit, having circumnavigated the globe twice aboard The Enterprise, CVN 65 in the Navy.
Bobbie retired from Xerox Corporation after a rewarding career of 32 years. His love of driving led him to his second career as a Motorcoach Driver and Professional Truck Driver.
He was a Mason and member of The Scottish Rite for over 50 years.
Bobbie is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl, of 32 years; his sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Kenny Sparkman; two children, Sonya Esoda (John Esoda) and Bryan Smallwood (Juliette Crowley-Smallwood); two step children, Alicia Powers
and Ryan Santy; along with three grandchildren, Jared Crowley, Hannah Smallwood and Joshua Jones and two great grandchildren.
A remembrance will be held at a later date.
