Oct. 3

* Candi Danielle Blackmon, 17, of 278 Mac Johnson Road, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act.

* Bradley Kenneth Brown, 22, of 47 Jewel Road, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with off-road vehicle violation, driving while license withdraw and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer.

* David Lee Harris, 29, of 130 N. Erwin St., Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with reckless conduct and possession of a firearm or knife while trying to commit crimes.

* Douglas Wayne Speights, 22, of 22 Amanda's Court, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with simple battery (FVA) and criminal trespass (FVA).

Oct. 4

* Michael Jay O'Brien, 34, of 16 Williams Drive, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with possession of marijuana more than 1 ounce.
