Funeral services will be held at 11 Tuesday morning in the Crossroads Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Turner and the Rev. Jimmy Tibbets officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. Mr. Ross will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the funeral service.
A native and lifelong resident of Acworth, Mr. Ross retired as an automobile mechanic from Day's Chevrolet. He was a member of the Cartersville Historical Vehicle Association and the Crossroads Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Edna Ross of Acworth; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sherry Ross of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Shane Garner of Taylorsville and Stacy Agan of Lithonia; great-grandchildren, Jessica Garner, Cody Garner, George Garner, Nikki Fridman, and Jacie Agan; sister, Dorothy Bradley of Cartersville; several nieces and nephews.
