Early voting for the July 22 runoff election will begin Monday and continue through Friday, July 18.

Bartow County residents will have four races on the July 22 ballot. The Republican races are: Jack Kingston and David Perdue for U.S. Senate; Mike Buck and Richard Woods for state school superintendent; and Bob Barr and Barry Loudermilk for U.S. Representative for the 11th District. The Democratic race is Alisha Morgan and Valarie Wilson for state school superintendent.

The “My Voter Page” (MVP) app is a free resource for voting information. Georgia voters can view their specific sample ballot, find their polling locations, check voter registration status and track the status of their absentee ballot. All of this information is available on mobile devices on Apple and Android platforms. To download the app, search for “GA Votes” in the app store.

Kemp launched the MVP app on March 31 at a combined meeting of the Georgia Election Officials Association/Voter Registrars Association of Georgia in Augusta with election leaders from across the state. It is believed that Georgia is the first state in the nation to offer both online registration as well as an innovative mobile application that enables voter registration like “MVP.”
