The Woodland High softball team will host four days of games for local teams, including Cass and Cartersville, from Monday through Thursday.

This is the fifth year Woodland has hosted summer games.

However, this year, the event will be expanded to four days with more teams than ever, 10.

“We’re playing a lot of games. It should be fun,” Woodland head coach Colman Roberts said. “I heard some kids talk the other day that they love summer ball because it’s more relaxed. Of course, we have a lot of fun in during the season, but it’s a little more relaxing, and you get to see the young ones come up and see how they look. I think our kids are excited to be out there.”
