Early voting for the May 20 primary election will be open today across the state.

Bartow County residents can cast ballots from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bartow County Voter Registration Office, 105 N. Bartow St., Cartersville.

“Every Georgian should have the opportunity to vote in the May 20th Primary Election,” Secretary of State Brian Kemp said in a press release. “The good news is that it is easier than ever to vote early. Georgians have the opportunity to vote early this Saturday at locations across Georgia.”

Regular early voting will continue through Friday, May 16. The Bartow County Voter Registration Office and Cartersville Civic Center, 435 W. Main St., both will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The “My Voter Page” app also provides Georgia voters with tools. They can view their specific sample ballot, find their polling locations, check voter registration status and track the status of their absentee ballot. All of this information is available on mobile devices on Apple and Android platforms. To find the app, search for “GA Votes” in the app store.
