One person was injured Friday night in an officer-involved shooting at the Eagle View Mobile Home Park in Euharlee.

“At approximately 7:50 this evening there was a shooting involving an officer in the [Eagle View Mobile Home Park] trailer park and the victim was transported to the hospital, and we don’t have any other information other than [Georgia Bureau of Investigation] has been called in for an investigation at this time,” City Manager Trish Sullivan said.

Euharlee Police Chief Terry Harget declined to comment, stating the investigation was still ongoing. However, he stated the GBI had taken over the case.

Sullivan said the Euharlee officer was at a residence, trailer number five, to serve a warrant. She said the officer was not injured and declined to provide any further information.

Bartow County Emergency Medical Service confirmed the victim was taken to Cartersville Medical Center.
