At least three people were “cut” during a brawl at a party Wednesday night.

A Bartow County Sheriff’s Office deputy met with three people at Cartersville Medical Center about 12:30 a.m. Thursday after they said a fight broke out and someone produced a knife, according to the report.

One man said several people were engaged in a confrontation and at least four people were injured, but he could not identify the suspect.

Two other men said they were at the gathering when the fight ensued but neither could say who did the cutting.

A female said she was at the party with her boyfriend — who was one of the victims — when he and several others began fighting. She also could not identify the suspect because she had not seen a knife.

The first man had two long, open cuts to his right hand; the second victim had a large, open cut to his chest. The third suffered a cut between the fingers of his right hand. All required stitches.

A potential fourth victim was said to have cuts to his hand, but he was not at the hospital and a description could not be provided.
