Qualifying for local offices for the upcoming election ended Friday afternoon. The following candidates and issues will be on the Nov. 5 ballot.

Adairsville:

Buddy Bagley, incumbent, has qualified for the Post 4 city council seat.

Kenneth Carson has qualified for the Post 3 city council seat.

Lee Castro has qualified for the Post 3 city council seat.

Connie Morrow, incumbent, has qualified for the Post 3 city council seat.

Cartersville:

David Apple, incumbent, has qualified for the Ward 5 board of education seat.

Floyd Braid has qualified for the Ward 2 board of education seat.

Kelly Dial, incumbent, has qualified for the Ward 6 board of education seat.

Kari Hodge, incumbent, has qualified for the Ward 1 city council seat.

Valerie Holt has qualified to run for the Ward 3 city council seat.

Carolyn Johnson, incumbent, has qualified for the Ward 1 board of education seat.

Matt Santini, incumbent, has qualified to run for mayor.

Louis Tonsmeire, incumbent, has qualified for the Ward 3 city council seat.

Dianne Tate, incumbent, has qualified for the Ward 5 city council seat.

Emerson:

Donnie Bagwell has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

Ed Brush, incumbent, has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

Brenda Tidwell, incumbent, has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

Euharlee:

Sammy Carden, incumbent, has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

Kathy Foulk, incumbent, has qualified to run for mayor.

Ron Nesbitt has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

David Stout has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

Dennis Thayer has qualified to run for mayor.

Joseph Turner, incumbent, has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

Kingston:

Mike Abernathy has qualified for the Post 4 city council seat.

Ron Casey, incumbent, has qualified to run for mayor.

Louise Howell, incumbent, has qualified for the Post 1 city council seat.

Edward Miklas, incumbent, has qualified for the Post 4 city council seat.

Wanda Penson has qualified to run for mayor.

Jeanette Perkins-Graves has qualified to run for mayor.

White:

Chris Allen, incumbent, has qualified to run for mayor.

Dennis Huskins, incumbent, has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

David Richards, incumbent, has qualified for an at-large city council seat.

White has two items on the ballot. Voters will be allowed to decide on Sunday sales of alcohol being allowed in the city limits and whether restaurants should be allowed to sell by the drink.
