For the boys, it will be Greg Edwards, Kadeem Buford, Kelin Wells, Alan Triplett, Walter Brown, Khari Haynes and Keylon Woodard.
Edwards, Brown and Woodard head to next Saturday’s sectionals as region champions.
Brown won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.1 seconds.
Woodward placed first with a distance of 43 feet, 6 1/2 inches in the triple jump.
Edwards won the region championship in the high jump (6-2) and in the long jump (20-4). Buford came in second behind Edwards in the long jump with a leap of 20-3.
Edwards and Buford were part of Cass’ 4x100-meter relay team, along with Wells and Triplett, that finished third.
Haynes will be going to the sectionals by finishing third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.9.
For the Lady Colonels, heading to the sectionals will be Amber Bowen, Janee Callahan, Sydney Cochran and Rebekah Rawlins.
Bowen will be going to the sectionals as the region champion in the triple jump (33 feet), while Callahan is the region champion in the shot put (35-4 1/2).
Cochran came in third in the discus with a throw of 100-8. Rawlins also finished third by clearing 8-0 in the pole vault.
Overall, the Colonels placed second behind Northwest Whitfield, 102-86.
The girls were sixth.
The sectionals that Cass will be participating in will be held in Carrollton starting Saturday.
