The Braves had built a 7-3 lead before the Phillies scored five runs in the fourth and one more in the fifth in their 9-7 come-from-behind victory.
Spearheading the comeback were Jordon Wells, Blane Belisario, Luke Schiltz and Derek Pearson.
Wells tripled and drove in two RBIs, while Belisario had two hits and scored two runs. Schiltz also tripled, drove in two runs and scored once. Pearson had one hit, an RBI and scored two runs.
Other Phillies’ hitters contributing to the win were Landon Powell, who walked and scored two runs; Chance Willis, who walked twice and scored once; and Karson Homberger, who walked and scored once.
Along with their bats, Belisario and Schiltz combined for 17 strikeouts.
Belisario went 3 1/3 innings, striking out nine on 76 pitches. Schiltz pitched 2 2/3 innings, throwing 45 pitches and striking out eight Braves.
The Braves built their lead thanks to Kolby Adams, who had two hits, an RBI and scored two runs; and, Austin Baker, who also had two hits to go along with his run batted in and run scored.
Preston Welchel had one hit, walked twice and scored once. Cody Edwards, who had a hit, walked and scored once. Byers Murray and Hayes Miller each walked and scored a run. Baylor Agan had a base hit.
Pitching performances by the Braves included Murray, who threw 30 pitches and struck out two in two innings of work; Welchel, 33 pitches and three strikeouts in one inning; and Adams, who threw 53 pitches, striking out four in two innings.
Colts 9, Padres 1
Alan Thacker pitched a complete game, allowing just one run while scattering six hits and striking out 12 in leading the Colts to a 9-1 victory over the Padres.
In the win, Thacker also doubled, homered, drove in two runs and scored twice.
Other heavy hitters for the Colts were LaDarious Winburn and Kaison Williams.
Winburn had three hits, drove in one, and scored once himself. Williams had two hits, an RBI and scored three runs. Caz Smith also had two hits, as he drove in a run and scored twice.
Jonah Gambill’s lone hit was a double. Josh Robbins and Alex Freeman each walked, with Robbins scoring a run.
Scoring the lone run for the Padres was Kurtis Feanny, who also had a hit. Seth Porter, Malik Watts and Jesse Martin each had a base hit. Brant Smith led all Padres with two hits. Blake Stover drew a walk.
Stover also pitched two innings, threw 42 pitches and struck out three. Smith went three innings, striking out six and throwing 54 pitches. Trevor Pfieser threw only 11 pitches in one inning of work.
Indians 8, Dodgers 1
Backed by the pitching and hitting of Chris Davis and Noah Davis, the Indians were able to defeat the Dodgers, 8-1.
Chris Davis worked three innings in which he threw 44 pitches and struck out four. He also had three hits, scored and drove in two runs. Noah Davis also pitched three innings in which he threw 38 pitches and struck out five. He also had three hits, driving in a run and scoring once himself.
The Indians’ Peyton Willoughby had a hit, drove in a run and scored once. Brendon Walker had a hit and an RBI. Dalton Southern had a hit. Ian Inaba, Nick Bailey and Logan Quijano all scored once. Brady Burson walked and scored, and Seth McFarland walked.
For the Dodgers, Tyler Dilcher scored the team’s lone run and worked one third of the inning in which he threw 12 pitches and struck out one. Clay Ross threw 78 pitches, struck out four in 4 2/3 innings.
Tigers 15, Crackers 1
Jake Cooper Gooch’s grand slam home run and Garrett Shelton’s double and home run powered the Tigers to their 15-1 win. Gooch, to go along with his slam and four RBIs, also scored three runs. Shelton, in turn, scored and drove in three runs. He also pitched four innings, throwing 70 pitches and striking out 11. Also coming through with two hits was Brady Evans, who also walked twice and scored twice. Gage Morris had a hit, walked twice and scored twice. Pitching in relief, he went an inning having thrown 25 pitches and striking out three. Koby Jordan doubled, walked twice and scored once. Brady Craig had a hit, walked and scored a run. Bryson Sakaci walked and scored twice. Tyler Gamble scored once.
Scoring the lone run for the Crackers was T.J. Jackson, who doubled. Chase Horn led his team offensively with two hits and a walk. Also reaching base were Aiden Shea (walk) and Jackson Norris (hit batsman).
Horn pitched four innings, throwing 81 pitches and striking out eight. Charlie Heidmann went one-third of an inning, having thrown 21 pitches and striking out one. Jordyn Mitchell threw 30 pitches, striking out two in two-thirds of an innings.
