Clutch pitching and timely hitting by Adairsville was instrumental in leading the Tigers to a 6-4 hold your breath victory over the Armuchee Indians at home.

For the second time in a week, Adairsville built early leads, only to see them disappear in the later innings.

On Monday, Adairsville built an early 9-3 lead against Rockmart. The final score in that game was 9-8.

Against the Indians Friday night, the Tigers were leading 6-0 heading into the top of the sixth inning.

Starter Neil Knight pitched 4-1/3 innings of shutout baseball, but was on a pitch count according to his coach, Eric Bishop.
