Solid goalkeeping by Alicia Velasquez and Kaitlyn Eubanks’ hat trick was all that Woodland needed in its 9-0 victory over Cedartown Friday.

The Wildcats have won two straight and have not allowed a goal in their opening two games of the season.

“It was total effort in both of our wins,” coach Kyle Morgan said.

Woodland opened its season with a 1-0 win over the Sprayberry Lady Yellow Jackets Wednesday. The mercy rule would have gone into effect Friday if the Wildcats had scored 10 goals.
