According to a Bartow County Sheriff’s Office report, on Tuesday three separate businesses reported catalytic converters had been cut off and stolen from vehicles left at their facilities overnight.

At 7:02 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to RFI Home Distribution, 1463 Highway 411 Suite G, in reference to theft. The deputy met with the complainant who said the catalytic converter had been removed from a vehicle and was missing. No surveillance was available.

The deputy then walked over to C&C Gutters, 1489 Highway 411 Suite A, where the complainant told the deputy that the same thing happened to one of his vehicles.

According to the police report, surveillance from C&C Gutters showed a black, two-door vehicle, possibly a late ’80s or early ’90s Ford Mustang, arrived at the area around 12:26 a.m. Two males exited the black vehicle and ran to their truck.

At 8:02 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to BellSouth Telecommunications. The complainant told the deputy the catalytic converters to four of the company’s vehicles had been removed and taken. No video surveillance was available.
