“This is his third time he’s made something like this,” according to Dave Geros, who first coached Lawrence on his Cartersville Youth Football League team when he was 7 years old. “He’s made just about any of those teams he’s tried out for.”
Geros was surprised, though, when their paths crossed as he was looking to draft players for his football team several years ago and Lawrence, then 7, was among those being considered.
