Maxine O. Bailey, 80, of Indian Hills Drive, Rydal, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Bailey was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Atlanta, daughter of the late John Roberts and Bertie Mae Edwards Roberts.
Survivors include her husband, Burrel H. Bailey; daughters, Janice Cheshire of Kennesaw, Debra Maxine Adair of Douglasville, Marisa Black of Cartersville, Nikki Masters of Ellijay; son, Burrel “Bill” Bailey III of Carrollton; grandchildren, Joshus Sacca, Julie Josey, Stephen Black, Warrant Officer John Bilton, Laura Clay, Alyshia Bailey and Billy Bailey; great-grandchildren, Rylan and Jody; sisters, Dorothy Collins of Marietta and Ramona Philbrick of Orlando, Fla.; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Georgia National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.
