Chemistry plus experience could equal more victories for Adairsville this year.

Kent Howard, head coach, said three starters are returning for Adairsville as well as some experienced players from a team that went 8-17 overall, 5-8 in Region 7A-AA.

This year's team will be competing in 5B-AAA and coach Howard said it has "the potential to be a very good team" if the players live up to their potential and others step up to fill key spots.

The returning starters are Roderic King, Austin Greenfield and Tyler Washington.

Other key players should be Zay Printup, Corey Davis, Marcus Childers, Sammie Frazier and Kyle Adams.

Lost to graduation last year were Zach Coker, and Chanse Fuleki and the two left some big shoes to fill, especially when it came to sinking shots and grabbing rebounds.

He said the scoreboard is a concern. Scoring is a big question mark at this point.

The coach said the scoring cupboard was not left bare, however.
