Huskies top Bulldogs in recreation play

Khay Lloyd scored two touchdowns and an extra point to pace the Bulldogs to a 15-0 victory over the Huskies in 8-and-under play with the Cartersville Parks and Recreation Department on Oct. 15.

Kamryn Callahan tallied a 2-point conversion for the Bulldogs to complete scoring.

Lloyd’s touchdown runs covered a distance of 41 yards and 1 yard.

Also in 8-and under play the same day, the Spartans put up 21 points while holding the Tigers to 6 points in claiming a 21-6 victory in the league.

Scoring were Justin Barron, a 60-yard run; John McDowell, a 50-yard run, Ryan Owens, 1-point conversion, B.J. Black, a 25-yard run, Pierce Mullinax, a 41-yard-run and Joshua Darden, a 2-point conversion.

10-and-under play

The Raiders defeated the Cowboys, 14-8, in 10-and-under play on Oct. 16.

Scoring honors were by Marko Dudley, 15-yard touchdown; Sam Phillips, 2-point conversion; Clay Ross, 10-yard touchdown and a 2-point conversion; Christian Martain, 21-yard punt return for a touchdown.
