Though one of the more decorated softball players in Bartow County, Taylor Weeks and her Adairsville teammates have yet to taste the state playoffs over the last several years, and the Lady Tigers seniors — a promising bunch since arriving in 2009 — are down to the final months of their high school careers to do so.
Adairsville hasn’t made it to the Georgia High School Association state softball tournament since ’08, and Weeks, a three-time all-county player, and her teammates would probably like to break that drought in their farewell tour for the Lady Tigers.
