Georgia residents and visitors from nearby states gathered around Old U.S. Highway 41 over the weekend for the Dixie Highway annual Yard Sale.

The event stretches over 90 miles in North Georgia -- from Ringgold to Marietta -- Friday through Sunday, and brings out the bargain hunters like yard sale expert and Cartersville native, Melissa Phillips.

"I've probably been yard-selling for 10 years and there's actually an art to it," she said Saturday.
