The crackdown was the result of a yearlong investigation, according to Cartersville Police Chief Tommy Culpepper.
Agents from the Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force, Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with others, executed the warrants about 10:30 Tuesday morning.
Culpepper said the case will be handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office because it "extends beyond the border of Cartersville and Bartow County."
The chief could not say how many people were arrested or what charges they face.
