James was the son of Johnny and Edna Walters of Cartersville. Survivors include one son, Johnny Walters of Florida; Dorthey Ingrim of Dallas, Ga., Mary Baugh of Cartersville, Ga., Johnnie Sue Mullinax of Lithia Springs, Ga. and David Walters of Cartersville, Ga.
