Seigler officially signs first pro contract


Anthony Seigler puts his name on the board after being selected 23rd overall by the New York Yankees during the first round of the Major League Baseball draft Monday in Secaucus, New Jersey. The former Cartersville High catcher reportedly signed Saturday with the Bronx Bombers after passing a physical the day before. Seigler told The Daily Tribune News earlier in the week that he would sign at the slot value of $2.8159 million.
