Former Cartersville stars and NFL players Andre Fluellen and Ronnie Brown are once again teaming up to host their 6th Annual Summer Football/Dance & Cheer Camp on June 25 at Cartersville High School.
“I look forward to bringing this camp to the Cartersville’s community every year,” Fluellen said. “Being able to host this camp with my longtime friend Ronnie and fellow NFL members is the icing on the cake. We look to, not only provide the kids with the unique opportunity to interact with players, but stress the importance of working together and perseverance.”
“Our camp mission is designed to motivate and encourage self confidence in these kids through the fundamentals of football,” Brown said. “In addition to teaching football techniques, we strive to promote the value in education and following your dreams.”
The camp will take place from 9 a.m. to noon.
It will be the third year that Andre Fluellen and Ronnie Brown host their football camp alongside the professional cheer Instructors, who will be hosting a cheerleading camp for girls. Brittani Richards, Florida State Golden Girls Dance Team coach shares her excitement saying, “I enjoy working with younger girls. We will be working really hard but we will also have a lot of fun at the same time.”
