Lights Out


As the result of the storm that passed through the Cartersville area Monday evening, traffic signals at two intersections on East Main Street were flashing all red, indicating a four-way stop. A strong thunderstorm came over southwest Bartow at around 5:12 p.m. According to the National Weather Service, there was up to 40 mph wind, pea-sized hail and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.
