Mr. Brad Hendricks, 83 of Cartersville, Ga passed away peacefully on January 2, 2020. Brad was born in Cartersville, GA, on January 20, 1936, to the late Mr. Horace Howard Hendricks and Mrs. Flonnie Bell Hendricks.
Brad was a member of Maple Ave. United Methodist Church in Marietta, GA, and was the owner of Quality Motors for 27 years. He then worked for Carey Paul Ford for 23 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers L.G. Hendricks, Howard Hendricks Jr., and Everett Hendricks; sister-in-law Betty Jo Hendricks, and brother-in-law, Robert (Bob) Darrell Smith.
Brad is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sharon Butler Hendricks; sisters-in-law, Marie Hendricks and Sybil Butler Smith; brothers-in-law, Jimmie (Lois) Butler and Andy (Angie) Butler; nieces, Cathy (Ricky) Hendrix, Karen (Wayne) Reed, Connie (Mark) Chase, Carisa (Donnie) Myrick, Debra (Alvin) Reynolds, Carla (Stephen) Rutledge and Kellie (David) Mohan; nephews, Mark (Linda) Butler and Carey Butler. Several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Brad's Memory. Uncle Brad will be remembered by all his nieces and nephews as a kind, generous and loving uncle. Everyone loved Uncle Brad.
A Celebration of Life Service for Brad will be conducted in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at one o'clock in the afternoon with Revs. Josh Roberts and Dr. Scott Shepard officiating. Interment will follow the service at White United Methodist Cemetery in White, GA. Serving as pallbearers will be: Mike Vaughn, Richard Cole, Gary Hall, Dean Lewis, Mark Chase and Joe Cave. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Gene Tilley and Bobby McMillan.
The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home on Monday, January 6, 2020, from five o'clock in the evening until eight.
