Mrs. Bobbie Wilson Davis, 81 of Taylorsville, GA, passed away, Monday, February 17, 2020.
She was born November 17, 1938, in Bartow County, daughter of the late Muriel Wilson and the late Leila Sewell Wilson. She retired from Union Carbide as an inspector and was a former employee of Taylorsville School. Mrs. Davis was a faithful member of the Floyd Creek Baptist Church for over 60 years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ross “Buddy” Davis on July 24, 2012; infant sister, Joanne Wilson; and a brother, Jimmy Wilson.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Toni Davis and Richard and B.J. Davis all of Taylorsville; two grandsons, Joseph Frederick Davis and Ross William Davis both of Taylorsville; sister, Louise Casstevens of Cartersville; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Wilson of Cartersville.
The family will receive friends at Freeman Harris Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Fisher officiating.
Interment will follow in the Floyd Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Campbell officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Bill Hunt, Scott McCormick, Harvey Evans, Allen Evans, Scott Garrett, Levi Lanham, Lee Roy Shepherd, Justin Sanford and Terry Hardin.
