Bartow County gymnasts earn high marks at invitational

The third annual Think Gymnastics Invitational attracted 60 gymnasts competing in Level 1-7 and Xcel divisions bronze, silver and gold.

According to Lisa Spaulding, Stingray Allstar Gymnastics, high scorers were:

Level 1: Emori Byars, 9.3 on bars; Level 2: Ashlyn Baines, 9.35 on beam; Level 3: Kendra Snape, 9.35 on vault; Jayla Byrd and Emily Galloway, 9.3 on vault; Level 6: Sydney Tew, 9.3 on floor; Alyssa Thayer, 9.35 on beam; Mandie Monforte, 9.3 on bars, 9.4 on beam, 9.375 on floor; and Hannah Komp, 9.45 on bars, 9.325 on beam and all around top score of 37.025.

Other Stingray competitors placing in the top three spots were:

The invitational was held in Cartersville and hosted by the Cartersville Stingray Allstars Jan. 30.
