APD looking for thief who broke convenience store window

The Adairsville Police Department is looking for two suspects who allegedly broke a window of a convenience store and stole several packs of cigarettes Tuesday morning.

According to an APD press release, at around 9:45 a.m., a white female broke out the window of the Click Mart on Highway 140 in Adairsville. She then entered the store through the window, went behind the counter and stole the cigarettes.

She then got into the passenger side of a 2001 to 2006 charcoal gray Dodge Stratus and left the scene.

The APD could not determine the race or gender of the driver of the Dodge Stratus based on the available surveillance footage. However, police could make out that the driver was wearing a dark-colored hoodie with a white T-shirt, white socks and sandals. The woman who got into the passenger seat was wearing a dark-colored hoodie with a "W" on the front, shorts, sunglasses and sandals.

The APD is asking anyone with information on the robbery to notify Detective Eric Burns by calling 678-409-5220.
