The man injured in a Fourth of July motorcycle accident in Bartow County has died, according to local officials.
The motorcycle was involved in a three-vehicle accident that occurred around 12:30 p.m. July 4, an accident that also involved a 2008 Infinity and a 2008 Honda CR-V.
All three were reportedly negotiating a curve going southbound on Red Top Mountain Road when the Honda slowed to make a left turn onto Webster Ferry Road.
The Infiniti stopped and the motorcycle, approaching from behind, overturned, rotated and began to slide on its left side, according to a release from Georgia State Patrol.
The motorcycle struck the Infinity, then rotated once again before striking the Honda.
The driver of the motorcycle, Daniel D. Cramer, 56, of Acworth, was killed in the collision.
Neither of the other two drivers – Darrell E. Bailey, of Chipley, Florida, nor Bailey Bilieleeann, of Kennesaw, were injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
