Adairsville overpowers Ringgold in volleyball
Adairsville dug itself a deep hole early, to the tune of 16-6, but then came roaring back to claim a 25-21 victory in the first set of their girls high school volleyball match played Tuesday at Ringgold. The Lady Tigers won the second set, 25-22, to improve their Area 6-AAA record to 5-0 on the season. “We started slowly. We weren’t focused and that was my fault,” head coach David Adams said. “We got down 16-6 and Sydney Sumners took over and put us in a good serving groove.
