Haley Pittman scored her second goal in the final minute of the second overtime and Adairsville walked away from Weinman Stadium as Region 5-AAA champions after defeating Cartersville, 2-1, in girls high school soccer play. The teams had played to a 1-1 tie in regulation and neither scored in the first of two overtime periods alloted to determine a winner for games that end in a tie.
