According to BCFD Capt. Rob Tanner, units from stations 1, 4 and 6 were dispatched just after 2 p.m. to 5510 Glade Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found the single-wide mobile home 90 percent involved.
The residence was unoccupied and there were no reports of injuries.
Tanner said the structure was a total loss and the cause remains under investigation.
Also Saturday, BCFD reported to an overturned boat on Old River Road near Emerson.
Tanner said a couple was attempting to start the craft's engine when it overturned in shallow water along the Etowah River. The pair pulled themselves onto the bank and were not injured.
The boat was dragged to the shoreline to be removed.
