“To us, we’re looking at [the award] with the aspect of, ‘Things just now might be starting to take off,’” co-founder Tom Shinall said. “We’ve got a wonderful opportunity ahead of us.”
A leading wedding services website, theknot.com encourages the recently married to rate and review wedding vendors, resulting with the best wedding venues and top wedding professionals being acknowledged in the annual “Best of Weddings” list.
Co-founder Chad Oates said he is grateful for the award.
“2012 has been a blessing,” Oates said in a press release. “Last month, The TC Show celebrated our 10th year in business and now we’ve been named as one of the Best DJ Services in the state of Georgia.”
“We feel the distinction of being named to the ‘Best of Weddings’ is a reflection of the services we provide. Over the past several years we’ve seen substantial growth,” Shinall said. “We’ve added new clients, new party professionals — we’ve even added new markets.”
The TC Show joined theknot.com’s Georgia section earlier this year. In 2012 The TC Show will have had the opportunity to serve 79 couples along with their families and friends as party professionals, equating to about 45 percent of their 2012 clientele base, Shinall said.
“After a decade of service, The TC Show has served over 500 couples for weddings across the eastern United States,” Shinall said.
The company also provides entertainment for birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate parties and other events.
Established in 2002, The TC Show’s mission is “enhancing the lives of individuals through excellence in music and entertainment.”
“It is the vision of The TC Show ‘to transform an individual’s event experience as a Party Professional based on Godly gifts and moral values that result in an unforgettable occasion,’” Shinall said.
The team says the business is structured on Proverbs 27:17, which states, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
