Lady Tigers make it three straight over Ringgold

The Adairsville Lady Tigers had already defeated Ringgold twice during the regular season when the two teams met again Wednesday night in a Region 5-AAA tournament game played at Sonoraville High School.

Fortunately, the third time was indeed a charm as Adairsville defeated Ringgold, 65-51.

“It was a good night for Adairsville,” said coach Meredith Barnhill after watching the Adairsville boys defeat Sonoraville.

It was a good night indeed for the Lady Tigers as they led from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer. With the win, the Lady Tigers next play North Murray tonight at Sonoraville. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.

“We were ready to play when we took the court against Ringgold,” Barnhill said.
