Adairsville scored the game’s first three goals on its way to notching a 4-1 victory that knocked Ringgold from the ranks of the unbeaten Friday night in girls high school soccer.

The win salvaged a season split for the two teams and let the Lady Tigers avenge the only blemish on their record — a 3-2 loss that had opened their season Feb. 22.

Adairsville broke into the scoring column when Cassidy Greene scored in the 10th minute on a 40-yard breakaway.

Nisa Ayers tallied the team’s second goal from about 18 yards out after an assist from Sydney Sumners in the game’s 21st minute.

In the 38th minute, Greene scored her second goal off an assist from Ayers.
