I believe we can continue forward with the positive things the school system is doing and work to make Bartow County the best school system in the state.”
John Howard, the Republican incumbent for District 1, ran uncontested from any fellow Republicans. He will face Paul Nally, the Democrat candidate, in November.
Dr. Davis Nelson’s post also was up for re-election but he remained uncontested and will continue to hold the seat.
