In the third and final debate before the July 31 Republican primary for Bartow County Commissioner, candidates tried to differentiate themselves from the pack.

The five qualified candidates took the stage Tuesday evening at The Grand Theatre drawing a noticeably slimmer crowd for the last scheduled question-and-answer session.

Questions asked of those vying for the county's highest office touched on the topics of economic development, the proposed Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, public safety and budgeting.
