Jefferson scored on the team’s first play from scrimmage with his 54-yard run.
An Adairsville fumble led to Jefferson’s second touchdown of the first quarter, this one a 3-yard run.
It was Jefferson again scoring in the second quarter to give Cartersville a 21-0 halftime lead. His third touchdown came on a 39-yard pass from Mason Scott.
It was 34-0 Cartersville after three quarters when Tres Fezzia returned a fumble 32 yards for a touchdown, and Jefferson scored his fourth touchdown with his 7-yard run.
The only scoring in the fourth quarter came on a 27-yard touchdown run by Ashton Nettles.
With the win, Cartersville Middle heads to the second round of the playoffs and will host the winner of Woodland-Sonoraville Thursday at Weinman Stadium.
